October 2020
Fine Line believes in giving back to the community of Durban by dedicating some months to fundraising and drives. With the help of the broader community of Durban, and their solid support, the Fine Line team managed to raise a whopping R40,250.00 for Hands for Hearts during the month of October.
Hands for Hearts is a non-profit organisation which assists many communities around Durban. The money raised was used to purchase much-needed projectors for the Fulton School of the Deaf; projectors that can be used with the lights on, allowing the children to see the teacher signing to them. This has been sorely needed.
Our clients and community members also delivered non-perishable food items to the studio for Hands for Hearts. These were distributed to families in need. Fine Line will be continuing to collect these food items and anyone who brings four or more items will receive a R200 voucher.
To raise the money, the Fine Line artists tattooed many flashes, each at R300 per tattoo. The entire proceeds went to Hands for Hearts and a huge thank you goes to our artists for donating their time and skill to this worthy cause.
